PAWS IN THE PARK 2011

Agility Demonstration by Agility Dog Club of NSW

On Sunday October 30 members from the Agility Dog Club joined many other local dog owners to help celebrate "Howl-a-ween".

This is an annual event hosted by the Hills Shire Council and is their "dogs' day out" event. There were two rings for demonstrations, info talks and many commercial stalls.

Our members decided to decorate our stall with Halloween  gear rather than decorate our dogs! On of the highlights for the pet dog owners is the fancy dress competition.

We provided 3 demonstrations and although we had to compete with police dogs and "Wags the Dog" we had a good response.

Our demo team certainly enjoyed the events. I think we would enjoy it even if no-one watched- we just love having fun with our dogs.!

Warren  altered one of our seesaws to comply with the new rules and the team had a chance to play on it- with mixed reactions.

The team consisted of:
Vanessa, Jan, Kirsten, Tanya, Jo, Michelle, Lorraine, Elga, Paul, Di ,Pat, Dale, Ann, Anna, Jon, Helen, Kate, Warren, Cath, Robyn, Leanne, Dorian and Marilyn( who came to offer support even though she was sick).
